Another fun filled week here

Whew! The warmer it gets, the crazier things around here become!! Monday was Xander's & my last morning of playgroup until the fall, I'm gonna miss the 1.5 hour repreive from being a Mom. lol Cody had soccer practise Monday night, but I stayed home with the younger kiddos.

Yesterday, my MONITOR arrived!!!! I am soooo loving it!! Such a big viewing area, and the colors are so perfect!!! Yesterday was also Jenna's bottle drive for Sparks (& Brownies), to raise the funds needed for their year-end trip to Calgary in June (they get to have a sleep over at the Calgary Zoo, in the reptile room!!!! EEEEEEEKKKK!!!). And Cody had his fire safety class for his babysitting course. Only one more class to go!!!!

Today is semi-quiet during the day (just have to run up to Overwaitea to get milk and drinks for Des for work). Tonight Cody has a soccer game, Sparwood vs. Crowsnest Pass. Cross your fingers and toes that they win, they need the boost, having lost both their games so far. Tonight would normally be Sparks night, but because of the bottle drive, it's been cancelled for this week. That's ok with me though. Running from the game to go grab her and go back is time consuming. lol

Tomorrow afternoon is storytime at the library for Xander. And afterschool Cody has his last babysitting course class. Hoping he passes!!!

Friday is Des' and my 5th wedding anniversary!!!! And by the sounds of things, he has three days off this weekend! First time he's had more than one day off at a time since starting this new job at Kal Tire. He should have Friday, Saturday and Sunday off. We would normally go camping on the May long weekend, but not this year. I think we are gonna try and go out for dinner Friday (probably stay here in town, go to the Arrowana, or maybe go into Fernie, not too sure yet). And spend the rest of the weekend puttering around here, doing yard work (the yard has been overrun by little yellow weeds ;) and long grass) and maybe getting the basement converted to Cody's room.

Hope your hump day is going well!!
