I am still alive

just still without internet. And at the rate things are going, I have no idea when I will get back online regularly.

We had to turn off internet and cable tv, so I am currently going through major withdrawals. And sadly, because of this, I have been lacking scrapbooking creativity. No chatting and no drooling over new stuff has really put me in a funk.

we didn't pay our cable bill before the due date, and we are a bit behind, so I am without digital cable and internet for about a week. I am posting this from the library, but it's not easy to escape without children to check in daily. This is Xander. Yes, Xander. Not Quinten. Hard to believe that this is one of the first real photos I took with my digital camera. I wasn't even trying! And sadly, I bet I couldn't do this again in this lifetime! hehehee

It's bittersweet to look at this photo, because I cut off all Xan's curls shortly after, and they have never reappeared (mind you, I've never let his hair get this long since). And if you look at the reflection, you can really see Quinten in Xander's face. As Kristin put it .... it's like Quinten is looking back at Xander.
