In the process

of trying to figure out how to custom Blogger to suit ME! I have no idea what I am doing!! How sad is that!?!? I know HTML, but CSS and everything else I am clueless on. If anyone can help me out, I would so totally appreciate it!!!

On other news ....

the kids are settling into school very nicely. Although Cody already brought home a note from school. Ugh. I hope things improve with him, he'll be in high school next year.

My trip away was good, I learned a LOT. Talk about brain overload! So much that I should have known that I didn't, no fault of my own though. I think I get away again next month for a weekend too, for the same thing. Gotta love trips that cost NOTHING out of your own pocket. lol

I have more to post, but Quin is demanding Mommy's attention. He is the only one having a hard time now that school is back in, because he is the only one home with me in the mornings. Poor boy. Can't way til the kid programs start up again in October!!!

running away

yup, I am leaving this place! hehehee For one night only though. I am heading out in about 2 hours, to go to Cranbrook for an Area Guiding meeting. As I am the new Area web designer, I have to go. I am also going to represent Sparwood, since our District Commissioner can't make it. Should be fun times!! hehehe

I will be back around 7pm MST on Saturday. Taking the kids PSP with me, in case I find some wireless 'net, otherwise, I will talk to everyone when I get back!!

First day of school!!

Well, it's officially the first day of school today! Although they only went for two hours ...


Xander started Kindergarten, Jenna started grade Three and Cody started grade Seven. And poor Quinten, he HAD to have his pic taken with his backpack too!!

Well, that was a fun 3 months

This afternoon, I was "let go" from work. WTF? Whatever! For supposedly expressing an interest to work in the lounge and that the hours at front desk were too much for me. Uh, I offered to help in the lounge if they needed me, and I said I couldn't work night audit on front desk once the kids were in school. WHATEVER! So done with it all. I am just sad that I am gonna miss all my regulars that I got to know over the past three months.

Wanna know the funniest part? I am BARRED from the premises for 30 days!!! For a "cooling off" period. lmao So no dinners out or night of drinkin' with buddies for me!

And now, I have to go out and find something else to do, because of course, we had to get the new truck! heheheee
