newest addiction

dang everyone for sending me invites to join facebook!!! It has beome my new addiction! I have 103 friends as of this post, and it is still growing! heheheee I LOVE my digi friend additions too! I have reconnected with lots of friends from elementary school, high school, old jobs, old loves and just about everything in between! It's freakin' AWESOME!!! lol

Other than that, been working, done a few new digi LOs, just haven't uploaded yet. I am really slow on the uploads.

Went to a friend's housewarming party last night, took tons of drunk people pics (I was the only one sober), so I have lots to scrap for fun times. lol

Anywho, gotta head offline and get some beauty sleep .... gotta work in the am (the alarm is not my friend at 6am!!).

when asked how I survived without internet for over 6 months, I just tell people that I got through it, did the best I could. But in reality, I was dying for some interaction with the outside world, some thoughtless chatting, and my most beloved {and missed the most!} digital scrapbooking! Sure, I still created, but when having to dl at the library, burn to CD, and then unzip, etc at home ... it's not the same!

Since being online on Frieday {remember, I worked all weekend, and had my sisters come visit, so I didn't get much time til today}, I have DL'ed over 20 new kits! Uploaded 5 of the LOs I have done while being offline! And chatted with Miss Fantacy, who I have been missin' like you wouldn't believe!!!! {She went offline before I did, so we've got lots of catching up to do!}

So yeah, I survived .... just barely. heheee

FINALLY

the long awaited update - we are getting internet back at home!!!! I should be fully online by Monday July 2nd (because silly me has to work all weekend. lol).

Yup, I am working. hehee I work at the local hotel, doing front desk. Usually 16 hours only a week, but sometimes up to 32. Gets me away from the house of crazies though, that's for sure.

Anyways, I will update much more thoroughly once I am online at home, it takes forever here at the library.

I know, it's been a while since I updated this thing. Keep forgetting when I am at the library.

Not much has been going on. We had a great trip to Kamloops to visit family and friends. I almost didn't want to leave! hehee

Been busy with soccer this spring, with Cody, Jenna AND Xander all playing (On U12, U8, and U6 respectively), on the same nights!!!! (Monday and Wednesday). It's interesting to try and be in three places at once some nights. lol

Xander and Quinten both just got over the flu, and poor Quinny now has strep throat - my poor guy!

I've done lots of scrap LOs, just have to put them to CD and try and upload them to my galleries. It's time consuming though, with most galleries only allowing 4-5 uploads a day. lol

Miss you all, and I will try and remember to update more often (still holding out hope to get the 'net back at home soon!!!)

Today, my baby turns 2

So hard to believe, but today is Quinten's second birthday. Where has the time gone?!? I can still remember life before him. lol

Not much going on around here. Spring has finally arrived, the snow is pretty much all gone from the ground around us. We are heading home to Kamloops for Easter weekend, to go visit family and friends. Looking forward to that trip. The kids are so excited.

I am gonna be uploading a few LOs that I have done in the past few months, check my galleries if you want.

I am really hoping that we can get back online soon. With this trip home, the 'net comes second. lol
